>> r = (a - 9)/a

>> 2.a^2 - 57.a + 81 = 0
>> factorize to get (a - 27)(2.a - 3) = 0

a = 27 or a = 3/2
since r= -5 when a= 3/2, the terms become negative*(see question);

Ans: a = 27
