most reabsorption of water is from the small intestine-ileum- not the colon.

It never said "Carries to the fetus" it just blood vessels that carry oxygen , and then it was written maternal and fetal.

no it doesnt that is the placenta that leaves the uterus & not the umbilical cord which is connected to the baby's belly button it should be cut IM 100% SURE

Colon absorps only 0.3 to 0.5 litres
Ileum absorps 5 to 10 litres
