Here's a brief part of my answer:

Crush up an exactly same volume of each seed. (say 2 cm3). Place both in separate test-tubes, which are in turn placed in water baths at the exact same temperatures of around 37 degrees. Add an exactly same amount of pepsin to both test-tubes. Making use of the Biuret test (NaOH solution followed by CuSO4), the time taken for all the protein to be digested in both test-tubes is recorded (at regular intervals, and then the final time, when all the protein has been digested). A graph can be plotted with the results. The one in which more time has been taken for all the protein to disappear hence contains more protein than the other.


I never learnt about this, just improvised. Therefore I am doubtful about it.

Lol ikr. I wrote the test for protein first. But, see, the question doesn't ask to to test for the PRESENCE of protein. It already tells you that protein is present in both. Instead, it asks you to COMPARE the protein contents.

in a past paper i did a question which asked to compare carbohydrates in two fruits(in question it was stated dat both contain carbohydrates)
and in the mark scheme the reducing sugar test was applied and the sugar content was measured by the color of the solution

so i think here we also had to do the same

2. Two adjacent bones called the radius and ulna in the lower arm, and similarly, two adjacent bones in the lower leg called the tibia and the fibula.
3. Bones of the hands (carpals, metacarpals, and phalanges) arranged in the same way as bones of the feet (tarsals, metatarsals, and phalanges)

OMG! Our teachers never taught us the femur, tibia and fibula! I wrote that the humerus is in both bones and crazy stuff

Lol. But does the colour change gradually in the protein test or does it just turn purple straight away? Rofl. Thats my question exactly. In benedict'stest it changes gradually from.one colour to another and then yet another

Did you write about the Biuret test? I invented an experiment during the last 5mins

yeah this is what i wrote about:
take same mass of seed from both plant.
crush them and add some water
then take a sample solution from both seeds and do biuret test
i.e add 2cm3 of NaOH to 2cm3 of sample and shake the mixture then add a few drops of copper 2 sulphate
the intensity of the colour is then compared and the one with the higher intensity is the one with the more protein content

mix equal volumes of biuret 1 and biuret 2 reagent..and add them to crushed seeds...and the seeds should be in equal amounts in 2 separate dishes. > CIE will accept this much to outline test for proteins. ..and compare the color change..
