Maths, Addmaths and Statistics: Post your doubts here!

OK, I'll try to be more clear. It IS question 3 of J07, right? The question says "By comparing S and T, write down ... (b) an expression, in terms of n, for the n th term of T." Read the bolded part. You are supposed to compare the terms of S with the terms of T. I did that in my above post...

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

No problem. :) 36. The power to X is going to increase for sure, so rule out A & B. Why? Because when W is removed, more current will flow to X and hence the power there increases. Now, when W is removed, the resistance of the first block (W + X) increases. This means the entire circuit will...

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

I'll help you out with the S11 P1 ones (assuming you mean P12). Q34: As soon as I finished reading the question, I thought of the formula V = Ir + IR (r being internal resistance, R being external resistance, I being the current and V being the EMF). Now, if you increase R, you are increasing...

Maths, Addmaths and Statistics: Post your doubts here!

This question is the one from J07 right? If so, you are supposed to use the additional information provided in the question: The first terms of S and T are 3 and 4..........difference = 1. The second terms are 10 and 12..................difference = 2. The third terms are 29 and...

    Love in Islam: Valentine's Day

This is probably off-topic, but I disagree. Unless you actually BUY the official Windows 7 (or whatever) CD, it IS stealing which IS illegal. Microsoft already knows there's millions of Windows 7 torrents all over the Internet and I am quite sure they don't approve of it at all, but whether they...

    Mathematics: Post your doubts here!

There is no chain rule/product rule in AS-level Maths, just your basic differentiation and bracket differentiation. For that particular question you bring the entire denominator in the numerator and write it's power as -1 and solve it using bracket differentiation like so:

    STUDY HABITS

My physics teacher told me to never study in bulk prior to the examinations (like what most of us did in O-levels), it doesn't work that way in A-levels so yeah, study as you go along. Studying 2-hours a day should help you a lot. Also practice topical past papers when you are finished with...

Name a good and complete book for o level math sylabus D

You're done with all of them? Do D4 and the small booklet included with it too. If you have done those too, I think you just need to practice past papers and you're set. O-level Maths isn't that difficult. :)
