COMPUTER STUDIES??!! HOW TO PREPARE? HELP PLEASE!!

    - Read the algorithm notes in one of the booklets. An algorithm usually works like this: 1. Initialization of all required variables. 2. Loop (for..next, while..do..endwhile, repeat...until). 3. Processing/calculations/etc. done inside the loop. 4. Printing the output. But yeah, one of the...

    highest markx

Depends on the quality of your answers.. it's probably possible to get full marks but that's very unlikely so I think the highest marks range from 47-49 in each paper. This student topped Pakistan last June with 97% so she probably knows more than me. :P

    World Highest

Checking handwriting and neatness is pretty stupid in my opinion, what should matter more is how precise the answers are.

A CHALLENGING CHEMISTRY QUESTION PLZ HELP

To put it simple, a vapour in its natural state is a solid/liquid at room temperature, but a gas at room temperature would still be a gas (example: steam is a vapour but nitrogen is a gas).

    ComputerStudies!!!

I still think you should learn the definitions (although not all of them, just important ones) because they can come as parts of questions in the paper. Instead of definitions, they will probably just a normal question like the other questions in the paper.

    ComputerStudies!!!

Download the 'NOS' papers here, they contain a lot of useful notes relevant to our syllabus. :) Go through every past paper from 2002-2010 (although it would be good if you did ones before that too) and make sure you know how to write algorithms properly. Study chapters like logic gates...

    Physics ATP Important!!!

Study common experiments (related to light, electricity, magnetism, pendulum, density, etc). Make sure you know how to find errors in experiments and suggest improvements in them. Revise key diagrams and go through the these important topics. :)

    Physics ATP

ISCLHRTSR: Thanks a lot! :) That's what I initially thought but according to the marking scheme, the value of f will become larger. donorsolutions: That was the answer to part (a) (i). I was talking about part (a) (ii). Thanks for the explanation though.

    definition of polling please

In a system between a controlling computer and a number of networked computers, the controlling computer checks each terminal in turn to see if it has any data to receive or send. This is called polling.

Important Questions with Answers for Physics ATP

Awesome.. thanks for compiling these into a .pdf file. :) I wanted to add more stuff (more common questions and experiments) but due to lack of time it wasn't possible. Still, I'm glad we managed to solve (most) of those questions (the ones which I left out were ones I found too vague or too...
