    What to do?? :(

Just study from the FSc books. It's good you're taking ecat classes, but eventually you have to study yourself and I found out that giving a thorough read to FSc books helped. Get the ECAT book and skim through it in the end. NUST is a good place to spend 4 years in. Make sure you get into one...

    fast CS

What do you mean by "slightest chance of earning a job with a decent salary". CS in general is one of the top most fields in Pakistan. IT industry is filled with FAST CS graduates.

BSCS in Fast or Nust ?

FAST doesn't offer Computer Engineering (or have they started it recently? I don't know) NUST required u to take Physics, Maths and Computer or Physics, Maths and Chemistry

    Physics is a wise option.

BSCS in Fast or Nust ?

Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. So then GIKI will take some time to make its name in the CS industry...

BBA - FAST or LSE (later on transfer to LUMS)

Students joining any university thinking they'll transfer later to another uni, are going in a wrong direction! Transferring credits between Universities in Pakistan is not that easy, rather it's very very rare I would say (specially if ur looking to transfer to a higher merit uni, e.g LSE to...

Nice choice. GIKI has its legacy in Mechanical Engineering (although NUST is coming close as well) it has a strong alumini network in the industry, good faculty etc. I'm in NUST.

    Private Candidate

Both Nust and UET are good, GIKI doesn't have Chemical Engineering (or have they started it recently? I don't know). I would personally prefer NUST and will recommend u the same as well because It's easier for students with A level background to adjust there. Plus, its chemical school is very...

    fast university Bsc electrical engineering??

If ur totally sure u'll be going abroad, then I'll recommend FAST. It will give u good exposure (at least better than University of Gujrat) and better chance of applying and getting admission in good universities abroad. P.S: HEC approval is important, but it is too overrated. U only need it if...

Doesn't matter at all! Just get decent grades and ace their entry tests. U'll be good to go. Best of luck! :)

NUST AND FAST over NED ?

    Cheers! :D Best of luck!

NUST AND FAST over NED ?

It is indeed possible although a bit tough, but possible. U just have to work really hard, and if ur good with A-Levels, u have a good chance of acing the entry tests. Plus u should definitely go for SAT and see what u get, give it a couple of tries if u can't do it in the first one. Don't...

Civil engineering for girls at SCEE NUST (ISB)

Civil and Mechanical in general have very less ratio of girls. as mentioned precisely above. But please do tell ur friend, if she really likes and wants to go into the field, then don't hesitate! These things don't matter.

NUST AND FAST over NED ?

I meant, take ur SAT. and if u don't do too good in it, then u prepare for NET.

Because there, ur software engineering degree will be treated as software engineering and same goes for CS degree. These two fields although a little similar in ur undergrad, are totally different in ur postgrad studies

NUST AND FAST over NED ?

SAT is way easy as compared to acing that entry test. I strongly recommend u go for SAT. Ideal time for it is around January, February in ur A2. Unless u get 2350+ marks in SAT, u should then start preparing for entry tests. Yes, the time is less, but it can be done!
